Chantal West's Bio
Chantal is a Muncie area native who grew up on a farm with cows and pigs and she can drive anything from a forklift to a dirt bike. She graduated from Wapahani High School in 2007, then attended IvyTech Community College and studied Office Administration.
Almost all of her hobbies include her husband and their five children. They have a large vegetable garden and small chicken farm they all care for and maintain. Chantal loves photography and being able to capture life’s moments as they appear. On a regular day, if she’s not cleaning the chicken coop or picking produce, you can find Chantal at the office where she is a Payroll and Invoice specialist for The Townsend Corporation.
She competed in both the USA and MAO pageant systems. She is an advocate for diabetes awareness due to having a nephew with type 1 diabetes and her late husband lived with diabetes insipidus until he passed at age 28. They had 2 children, Eli and Briell. Chantal remarried in 2016 to her wonderful husband Kyle who has 3 children, Kearston, Xander and Addisyn. Kyle is a Master Trooper with the Indiana State police. She stays active with local charities such as ARF, Habitat for Humanity, Toys for Tots, A Better Way and Secrete Families. She even traveled to New Orleansto help rebuild homes for families who lost theirs during Hurricane Katrina. She is honored to have taken the title of Mrs. Indiana-America 2017 after Mekayla Eppers won the title of Mrs. America.
